Russian stocks may rise backed by growth on foreign floors
MOSCOW, Oct 16 (PRIME) -- Russian stocks may grow at the opening on Wednesday backed by positive dynamics on global floors, analysts said.
The U.S. stock indices rose 0.9–1.2%, the U.S. stock index futures are trading above the level of Tuesday’s close, European stock indices closed higher, and Asian indices are mostly growing, Olma senior analyst Anton Startsev said.
“From the position of the technical analysis, the possibility of growth on the stock market remains, but it is premature to talk about the completion of the consolidation phase of the RTS Index,” he said.
“Today, a slight improvement in the market situation as a whole may be triggered by optimism regarding Brexit’s prospects – it is reported that the E.U. rhetoric has softened, and an agreement with the U.K. can be concluded in the near future. Negotiations between representatives of the U.K. and the E.U. will continue today,” the analyst said.
